Mr. James D. Gillan, husband of Reverend Wendi (Marilee) Gillan, died on Wednesday, August 22, 2007.
Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 am on Saturday, August 25, at the United Methodist Church, 1001 1st Avenue N, Northwood. A second service will be Tuesday, August 28 at the United Methodist Church in Central City, NE. In lieu of a visitation, there will be a coffee at the Corner Post in Northwood on Friday, August 24 from 6 to 9 am.
Reverend Gillan served Kellerton-Beaconsfield-Grand River and Swea City. She is currently serving Northwood and Lake Mills, Asbury.
Survivors include his wife, Reverend Gillan, Northwood, IA; daughter DeAnna Way of Portland , OR and son, Kenton of Central City, NE.
Memorials may be sent to the Northwood UMC; Lake Mills, Asbury UMC or Hospice of North Iowa.
