Rev. Glenn R. Parrott, retired pastor, died  on Tuesday, March 18, 2008.

Funeral Service will be at 11 am on Friday, March 21 at the Washington United Methodist Church, 206 W 2^nd Street, Washington.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 20 from noon to 7 pm at the Beatty Funeral Home, 107 S 15^th Avenue, Washington.

Rev. Parrott served in Iowa at North English; Winterset; Council Bluffs, Broadway; as Ottumwa District Superintendent; West Des Moines and Tipton.  He retired in 1978.

Survivors include his wife Mary, Washington, IA; daughter Andree Halden of Burlington, IA; son Robert of Houston, TX; step-daughter Mary Crane of Hugoton, KS and Janet Stickler of Turpin, OK and step-son Daniel Carlson of Kirkland, NM.

Memorials may be sent to the Youth Program at Washington UMC or the Building Fund for Burlington, First UMC.
