Rev. George W. Den Hartog, retired pastor, died on Wednesday, March 19, 2008.

 

Funeral Service will be at 2 pm on Saturday, March 22 at First United Methodist Church, 127 N 10th Street, Fort Dodge.  (All clergy attending are asked to robe and wear a white stole.)  Visitation will at the church from noon to 2 pm prior to the service.

 

Rev. Den Hartog served in Iowa at Sioux City, Church of All Nations; Associate Superintendent, Wall Street Mission; Pomeroy-Jolley; Dayton; Goldfield-Hardy and as Director of Admissions and Resident Services at Friendship Haven.  He retired in 1985.

 

Survivors include his son Dave Den Hartog, Fort Dodge, IA and daughter Karen Goelke of Waterloo and step-daughter Ann Wildt of Fort Dodge.

 

Memorials may be sent to the family for future designation.
