Rev. Edward J. Cass died on Saturday, March 29, 2008.
Services will be Wednesday, April 2, 10:30 am at First United Methodist Church, 207 E Clark Street, Fayette, IA. (All clergy attending are asked to robe and wear a white stole.) Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 1 at the Becker-Milnes Funeral Home, 111 W 5th Street, Sumner, IA and one hour preceding the service at the church.
Rev. Cass served Winthrop-Whitney; Ledyard-Lakota; Laurel; Popejoy-Lee Center; Melbourne; Hansell-Dumont; Otho-Duncombe and Hawkeye-Alpha-Sumner.
Survivors include his wife Marjorie, Fayette, IA; daughters: MaDonna Matsui of Aiea, HI and Ramona Cass of Glendale, CA.
Memorials may be sent to First UMC, Fayette or the Lutheran Home (Assisted Living), Strawberry Point, IA.
