Rev. J. Artley Leatherman died on Tuesday, April 22, 2008.

 

Funeral Services will be Monday, April 28, 10 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2715 E Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN.  Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at Hartzler-Guternuth-Inman Funeral Home, 403 W Franklin Street, Elkhart, IN.

 

Reverend Leatherman served in Northern Indiana, Baltimore, Central Pennsylvania and Iowa Conferences.  In Iowa he served Des Moines, Grace; Fort Dodge, First; as Waterloo District Superintendent and Mount Vernon.  He retired in 1985.

 

Survivors include his wife Naomi, Goshen, IN; daughters:  Ruth Bushko of Bedford, NY; Rebecca Ash of East Orleans, MA and Joanna Houghton of West Des Moines, IA and son, David Leatherman of Des Moines, IA.

 

Memorial contributions designated to Bristol United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund or Rotary International.
