Rev. Arthur E. Brent died Saturday, November 22, 2008.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 25 at 10:30 am at the First U.M. Church, 309 Main St., Mount Pleasant, Iowa, with visitation at the Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 N. Main St., Mount Pleasant on Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Reverend Brent served North Liberty-Tiffin; West Burlington-West Hill; Winfield; Ogden; Centerville; Des Moines, Union Park and New London before retiring in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Doris, Mount Pleasant; two daughters, Mary Alice Eberle of Washington and Anita Hampton of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and one son Richard Brent of Ankeny, Iowa.
Memorials have been established to Iowa Wesleyan College, 601 N. Main St., Mount Pleasant, IA 52641 and to the Iowa Conference Board of Camp, Conference and Retreat Ministries.
