Rev. Vincent Lee James, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009.
Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Monday, February 23 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 2900 49th Street, Des Moines, IA. (All clergy attending are asked to robe and wear a white stole.) Visitation will be from 1 to 8 pm on Sunday, February 22 at Iles Funeral Home, 2121 Grand Avenue, Des Moines.
Rev. James served Sherrill Mound; as a Missionary to Chile; Ainsworth; Bagley-Greenbrier-Jamaica; Woolstock-Duncombe-Vincent; Greene Yoke and Burt-Good Hope. He retired in 1986.
Survivors include his wife, Amelia, Des Moines, IA; and sons, Stephen of Clear Lake, IA and Wesley of Atlanta, GA.
