Mrs. Gertrude E. Pencook, surviving spouse of Rev. Everett E. Pencook, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009.
Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm, Monday, July 6 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 838 N 25th Street, Fort Dodge, IA. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, July 5 at Gunderson Funeral Home, 1615 N 15th Street, Fort Dodge.
Rev. Pencook served Ross; Magnolia; Buffalo-Lincoln; Clinton; St. Ansgar-Little Cedar; Ocheyedan-Harrris; Onawa-Turin; Osage; Laurens; Sheldon; Altoona and Gowrie-Callendar. He retired in 1983.
Survivors include her daughters, Ruth Jordan, Turin, IA; Carol Werner of Washington, DC and Sandra McGrew of Fort Dodge, IA.
Memorials may be directed to the family for their further discretion.
