Rev. Robert B. Winter passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21 at the United Methodist Church, 306 McMartin, Beaman, IA. (All clergy attending are asked to robe and wear a white stole.) Services are also being held at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 17 at Grace United Methodist Church, Conway, AR.
Reverend Winter served churches in Mississippi and the following in Iowa: Beaman-Whitten; South Marion-Stanhope-Kamar; Quad County Larger Parish: South Marion-Stanhope-Pilot Mound; Morning Sun-Yarmouth; Marathon-Rembrandt; Rolfe-Bradgate and Macedonia-(Wheeler Grove UCC Yoke). He retired in 1988.
Survivors include his son David Winter, 5808 S Whitmore, Gypsum, KS and daughter Mary Nan Christian, Farmington Hills, MI.
Memorial contributions designated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a United Methodist Church of your choice.
