Mrs. Loraine Oswald, spouse of Rev. Rollin G. Oswald, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2010.
Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 13 at St. James United Methodist Church, 1430 Ellis Blvd. NW, Cedar Rapids, IA. Visitation will be Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel, 1221 1st Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, IA.
Rev. Oswald served St. Ansgar-Little Cedar; Dubuque, Grandview Avenue; Mt. Vernon; Iowa Falls; West Des Moines and as Cedar Rapids District Superintendent. He retired in 1988.
Survivors include Rev. Oswald of Marion, IA; sons: Mark of Londonderry, NH and Peter of Carlinville, IL; and daughters: Deborah Tierney and Rebekah Lane both of Indianola, IA.
Memorials may be sent to St. James UMC or Meth-Wick Community.
