Mrs. Flonda Mae Jones, surviving spouse of Rev. Lawrence E. Jones, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 22 at Wesley Acres, 3520 Grand Avenue, Des Moines.
Reverend Jones served in Iowa at Kalona; Fort Madison, Santa Fe; Ottumwa, Wesley; Corydon-Millerton Parish; Fort Madison, First; Lake City Union; as Conference Director of Stewardship and as Chaplain at Iowa Methodist Hospital. He retired in 1980.
Survivors include her son, James Jones of Boone, IA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to GraceUnitedMethodistChurch or Wesley Acres, Good Samaritan Fund.
