Mrs. Joan Louise Schlosser, surviving spouse of Rev. John R. Schlosser, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2011.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the West Center Chapel, 7805 West Center Road, Omaha, NE. Interment will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, in Reinbeck, IA.
Rev. Schlosser served Monmouth-Baldwin; Olin; Primghar; Mapleton-Ticonic; Onawa-Turin; Lake City Union; Reinbeck; Oakland; Hubbard and Noble-Grant-Lincoln Center. He retired in 1992.
Survivors include her children: John of Omaha, NE and Julie Jacobs of Coralville, IA.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be sent to Susan G. Komen for the Cure or Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.
