Rachel I. Ireland, retired Diaconal Minister, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Gay & Ciha Funeral & Cremation Service, 2720 Muscatine Avenue, Iowa City, IA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Rachel Ireland served as Christian Education Director at Cedar Falls, First and Burlington, First.
Survivors include her sister, Betty Lundquist of Iowa City and stepbrother, Ed Place of Danville, IA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the UMCOR, Heifer Project International, Bread for the World and The Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ.
