Rev. James M. Ford


Rev. James M. Ford passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

A Celebration of Life Service was held on May 6, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church, Powder Springs, GA.

Rev. Ford served in Iowa, Alabama and West Florida conferences.  In Iowa he served at Marne-Buck Creek-Monroe; Pine Grove-Ebenezer; Keosauqua-Bentonsport-Center Chapel; Missouri Valley-Modale; Ackley-Geneva; Corydon Parish: Corydon-Millerton-Sewel-New Zion and Des Moines, Staves.  He retired in 1998.

Survivors include his wife, Sally, 48 McEachem Way, Powder Springs, GA, 30127; daughters:  Bonnie Obrecht of Powder Springs and Elizabeth Holston of Ankeny, IA and son, James Ford, Jr. of LaGrange, KY.

Donations can be made to the First UMC, Powder Springs or the National Kidney Foundation.
