Rev. Laurence L. Garrett passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 27 at Grace United Methodist Church, 1100 Angular Street, Burlington, IA. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Friday at Prugh’s Chapel, 317 N 4th Street, Burlington.
Rev. Garrett served at Keswick-Thornburg; Stuart-Mount Vernon; Colfax-Ira; Ames, First (Associate); Burlington, Grace; Cedar Rapids, Lovely Lane and Belmond. He retired in 1996.
Survivors include his sons, Alan and Joel of Burlington and Tobin of Ottumwa.
