Rev. L. Duane Churchman passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 23 at Ankeny First United Methodist Church, 206 SW Walnut Street, Ankeny, IA. (The family asked that clergy DO NOT robe.) Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on the 22nd at the church.
Rev. Churchman served at Keota; Newton, St. Luke-Ira; Carlisle; Des Moines, Wesley; Fort Madison, First; Waverly, Trinity; Sioux City, First and Osceola. He retired in 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene of Ankeny, IA and their children: Lindsay of Eureka, IL; Dan of Monument, CO; Doug of Ankeny and Leah Van Meeteren of Ankeny.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to Wesley Woods Camp and Retreat Center, Indianola, IA.
