Rev. Maynard P. Hofer passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 25 at First United Methodist Church, 1105 Butts Avenue, Tomah, WI. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Torkelson Funeral Home, 2224 Superior Avenue, Tomah and one hour prior to the service.
Rev. Hofer served at Huxley-Cambridge; Williamsburg; as Chaplain, Chaplain Recruiter and Installation Chaplain in the US Army; Staff Chaplain, St. Mary’s Medical Center, Racine, WI and Chaplain, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Tomah, WI. He retired in 2014.
Survivors include his wife Stephanie of Tomah, WI; and his children: Meghan Hofer of Mason City, IA and Ben Hofer of Pozzuoli, Italy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Tomah Hospice Touch or the First United Methodist Church of Tomah.
