Mr. Bert “Brian” Ashley

Mr. Bert “Brian” Ashley, spouse of Rev. Sheryl K. Ashley passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

A Memorial Service will be Monday, August 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Anthon United Methodist Church with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, Anthon, IA. There will be visitation on Sunday, August 14th from 5-7 p.m. at Anthon United Methodist Church with a prayer service following the visitation. 

Rev. Ashley served at Anthon-Rock Branch-Oto (UM-UCC); Danbury; Sioux City, Grace; and Correctionville, Grace-Cushing, First. She retired in 2014.

Survivors include his wife, Rev. Sheryl Ashley; children, Kami Ashley (Hal) Farrington of Virginia, LtCol (ret) Ken (Lisa) Ashley of Waukee, and Tony (Cara) Ashley of Correctionville; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
