Mr. Richard A. Poore, spouse of Pastor Linda R. Poore, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 10 at First United Methodist Church, 516 Kellogg Ave., Ames, IA. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am at the church.
Pastor Poore served at Napier. She retired in 2016.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, of Story City, IA; his children; Jeanna Lynne Schwendinger of Eagan, MN; Deanna Lou Jacobs of Golden, CO; Richard A. Poore II of Waterloo, IA; Rebekah Mitchell of Winterset, IA; Mike Olson of Brainerd, MN and Brenda Henderson of Story City, IA.
