Mrs. Irma "Betty" E. Eis, surviving spouse of Rev. Richard L. Eis passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 10th at 2 p.m. at Bonaparte United Church, Bonaparte, IA. Visitation will be Friday, September 9th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Iles Dunn’s Funeral Home (2121 Grand Ave Des Moines, IA 50312). Per her wishes, her body was donated to Des Moines University so the committal will be at a later date at Parr Cemetery, near Muscatine, IA.
Rev. Eis served at Bonaparte-Bentonsport; New Virginia-Medora-Liberty-Medford-Pleasant Hill; Milton-Cantril-Mt. Sterling; Letts-Cranston; Radcliffe, St. John’s-Ellsworth-Evergreen; Osceola; Emmetsburg, and Maquoketa. He retired in 1990.
Survivors include her children Keith (Nancy) Eis, Beth (Ben) Campney, Karen Eis and Carol Eis all of Des Moines and Ann (Steve) Mallams of Mt. Union; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bidwell Riverside Center, Bonaparte Food Pantry, or the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Acres.
