Mrs. Jayne E. LaMore, surviving spouse of Rev. Dr. George E. LaMore, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017.
Services were held on January 26 at First United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant.
Rev. Dr. LaMore served in Iowa as Professor and Head of the Department of Religion and Philosophy and as Professor of Religion and Philosophy/Chair, Division of Human Services, Iowa Wesleyan College. He retired in 2000.
Survivors include her sons, Christian of Mt. Pleasant, IA and Wesley of Pittsfield, MA.
