Rev. Carlos C. Jayne, Jr. passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24th at 1:30 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Des Moines, IA. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 23rd from 5 to 7 p.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Urbandale, IA.
Rev. Jayne served at Waterloo, St Paul's; as the Director of Des Moines Urban Mission Council; as the Conference Legislative Advocate; and at Des Moines, Wesley-Bloomfield. He retired 2000.
Survivors include his wife, Betsy; daughters, Dori Leslie (James) and Andrea Jayne (Paul Nero); stepdaughters, Angela Ihry and Lisa Armstrong; and stepson, Michael Armstrong.
