Rev. Dr. Jerry L. Richards passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 14th at Hope United Methodist Church, 2233 Golf Road, Eau Claire, WI. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 10:00 am.
Dr. Richards served at Ainsworth-Fredonia; Burlington, Asbury-Spring Grove; as Executive Director, Responsible Social Involvement-Professor of Religion Iowa Wesleyan College; Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Iowa Wesleyan College; President, Iowa Wesleyan College and Director of Special Gifts, University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, WI. He retired in 2005.
Survivors include his wife Lee Ann of Eau Claire, WI; his children: Mark Richards, Renee Richards, Teresa Schoffelman and Annie Old; stepchildren: Alex Slimak, Joe Wood and Leslie Foster. Cremation Society of Wisconsin’s website is https://www.cremationsociety-wi.com/.
