Rev. John “Jack” O. Weida passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at the Edgewater First United Methodist Church in Florida on a date to be determined. Farley Funeral Homes’ website is http://www.farleyfuneralhome.com/obituary/john-weida/.
Rev. Weida served Giard-Farmersburg; Brandon; Plymouth-Rock Falls; Rockwell-Swaledale; Jefferson County Parish: Bethesada-Fairfield-Libertyville-Mount Zion-Pleasant Grove (Assoc.); Victor-Guernsey; Colo; Independence and Aurelia. He retired in 2005.
Survivors include his sons: Tim of Des Moines, IA; John of Sarasota, FL; Luke “Chris” of Phoenix, AZ; Mark of Victor, IA; Matt of Lincoln, NE and Benjy of Maurice, IA.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that folks think about how loving and giving Jack and Carol were to others. They are asking that you consider committing a random act of kindness in their memory.
