Rev. Kenneth J. Hartman, Sr. passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City where there will be a time of visitation beginning at 12 noon. Burial with military honors will be at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City.
Rev. Hartman served Hope Parish, Dawson-Cooper; Stratford-South Marion-Homer-Duncombe (Assoc.); Stratford-South Marion-Homer-Duncombe-McGuire Bend (United Brethren) (Assoc.); Peace U.M. Parish, Van Horne-Elberon-Blairstown-Norway (Assoc.); New Life Parish, Wayland-Cottonwood-Finley Chapel; Bettendorf, Community of Joy; and First United Church of Hopkinton. He retired in 2015.
Survivors include his wife, Rev. Lorraine Hartman; two sons, Dr. K. John Hartman Jr. and his wife, Lori, and Gabriel E. Hartman and his wife, Rieko; and grandchildren, Emma, Christin, John James “J.J.” and Ryan.
