Rev. Walter L. Sieck passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Funeral Services were held at 10:30 am on Monday, March 6 at First United Methodist Church, 1100 3rd Street, Perry, IA. Visitation was on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm with Masonic Lodge service at 5:00 pm at the Carris Family Funeral Home, 1721 Park, Street, Perry.
Rev. Sieck served at Muscatine, South; North and South English; Dunlap-Dow City; Des Moines, Easton Place; Sigourney; Grand Junction-Pilot Mound; West Bend-Mallard; Ackley-Geneva and Earlham-Worthington-De Soto. He retired in 1983.
Survivors include his wife, Elsina of Perry, IA and his children: Dean of Cleveland Heights, OH; Allan of Rippey, IA; Gloria Lepke of Perry, IA; Joseph Wintersieck of Walsenburg, CO; Angela Strutz of Cedar Rapids, IA and Rosemary Stetzel of Algona, IA and step-children: Pam Vandever of Perry and Jean Kistler of Perry.
Memorials may be given to Iowa Wesleyan University Scholarship Fund and First United Methodist Church in Perry.
