Rev. Wayne E. Shoemaker passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 14 at Immanuel United Methodist Church 2900 49th Street, Des Moines, IA. Family and friends are invited to share a time of fellowship, with an ice cream social in the church faith hall, immediately after the service.
Rev. Shoemaker served at East Dubuque, IL; Fayette; Ida Grove; Hampton; Fort Dodge, First; as Program Director, Iowa Annual Conference and Des Moines, Grace. He retired in 1982.
Survivors include his children: Peg Mikulanec, 800 Scott Feldon Road, Indianola, IA 50125; Mary, Mark, and Paul.
