Rev. Weldon A. Whitenack passed on Saturday, November 26, 2016.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 2 at the United Methodist Church. 206 W Second Street, Washington, IA. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home, 116 E Main Street, Washington and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Rev. Whitenack served at Redding-Middle Fork-Blockton; Diagonal-Benton (Methodist-Christian Yoke); Moravia Circuit;
Des Moines, Simpson; Superintendent, Muscatine District, Marshalltown, First; Superintendent, Des Moines District and Chaplain, Western Home. He retired in 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of Washington, IA and daughters: Debra Bachman and Linda Soukup of Washington, IA and son, Mark of Minneapolis, MN.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to the family for future designation.
